How does one become a celebrity journalist?

i would love to be a person who interviews celebrities/anyone (basically just an interviewer…haha) for a magazine or tv show.
how would i go about doing this?!?

I was looking for the same exact thing! All I can say is that you need to go to a college with a good journalism program (assuming you are in or about to be in college). That’s all I have right now. But I’m on the same boat you are. That’s what I want to do.

Why do people care about celebrity news?

Does it really matter what Paris and Jolie do? Is it so important that it just has to on national news?
I think celebrity news is a distraction for the media from the mundane and average news that’s on all the time. To some extent, I think they want to entertain the idea that even celebrities have stupid and crazy things going on in their lives.Sometimes when you watch celebrity news, it makes you feel relieved that at least you’re not going through the stuff they are.
But it’s more of a “filler” for life than anything. It does nothing for us, it doesn’t set a good example for regular people and it makes us wonder why we’re paying to see their movies when they’re lives aren’t worth much more than ours – they just have talent and we don’t.
In the end, we shuld choose not to watch Celebrity News because it’s just for us to poke fun, talk about at work when we’re bored, and use as example for our kids how NOT to live your life.

I am specifically looking for wav or mp3 files of celebs talking about general topics like why they started acting or who they look up to the most, etc.
I guess I’d even be interested in a site that offered them for a fee.

I hate news about Miley Cyrus is going to have a baby, or Angelina Jolie is having a new boyfriend. who cares, really, is that supposed to be news? This is like an auntie news agency. keep bring the useless news.
Tell me about X actress had a tape, or if she exposed her cat, or divorce by text-messaging, that’s news to be called entertainment news.

Marilyn Monroe was truly an icon of American pop culture. The actress, singer and model was known for her comedy skills and screen presence; however, her sex appeal became her signature. Monroe’s demeanor was notably controversial for its time. She eventually rose to be one of the most popular movie stars of the 1950s. Revered as a legendary Hollywood star, she is idolized throughout the world as a silver screen sex goddess. Today, celebrity women continue to imitate Monroe’s style, fashion and elegance, but few come close to the uniqueness of her stunning beauty and charming personality.
Madonna
Madonna has often said “to have been inspired” by Marilyn Monroe. Early in her career, she admitted in some interviews that she grew up idolizing the star. Madonna’s music video for “Material Girl” recreated Monroe’s “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”, a number from the 1950s movie “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”. The pop icon copied Marilyn’s pink gown and mimicked the intricate choreography as homage to her idol’s distinctive look and unique flirtatious attitude. In 1992, Madonna did a parody of Marilyn’s birthday song to President Kennedy during a Saturday Night Live episode.

In her recent “Ain’t no other man” video, Christina Aguilera imitates Marilyn Monroe. The video is set in the 1950s with credits written in a retro font. Aguilera steps out of a car, cleverly labeled Baby Jane (as a reference to Bette Davis), dressed in a sparkling white dress topped off with a vintage hat set over her curly, blonde hair. Her next outfit features fur and a lot of extravagant jewelry, a clear reference to glamorous women in the 1950s, most notably, Marilyn Monroe. Like the video for “Moulin Rouge”, Christina Aguilera continues to commemorate the daring women who paved the road for her own work.
Lindsay Lohan
In an interview, Lindsay Lohan stated her desire to entertain the troops in Iraq. The singer said she was inspired by the late Marilyn Monroe who entertained the troops during the Korean War. “I wanted to do what Marilyn Monroe did, when she went and just set up a stage and did a concert for the troops all by herself. It’s so amazing seeing that one woman just going somewhere.” Lohan’s controversial style of videos has kept media buzzing since her first album release. Along with other singers, she clearly admires the unique style and level of controversy that Monroe thrived on.
A birthday song like no other
Marilyn Monroe famously sang “Happy Birthday” to President Kennedy in 1962. The song and the video of the singer’s performance is a rare one that many generations have come to recognize. In fact, the song is often referenced in popular culture., It was presented at Prince Charles’s 50th birthday celebration in 1998. Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell parodied Monroe’s performance while changing the lyrics to “Happy Birthday Your Royal Highness”.
Marilyn Monroe set a trend that had never been seen before. She used her artistic talent and sex appeal to seduce the world. She initiated a craze that has revolutionized the music and acting industries. Modern entertainers of today continue to imitate Marilyn Monroe’s style because it worked then and it works now. Monroe once said that her great ambition was “to have people comment on my fine dramatic performances”. As she continues to be remembered and impersonated, her legend lives on. It is clear that her wish has come true.

Is a website you can actually download Celebrity interviews off (not like youtube).?

Im doing a project on celebrities and i need to cut and paste some movie clips of celebrites onto my movie making program, but all the sites i go to won’t let me download these clips (i.e youtube) are there any sites on the internet that allow you to do this, or is there a way to get them off youtube?!?!?!
You can try Google Video, Myspace, Metacafe, Dailymotion, iFilm, Music, eVideoShare, StreetFire, esnips, etc.
Then you can download and convert the video with moyea flv to video converter, and edit it with windows movie maker.
With this converter, you can download, play, and convert flv vids to wmv or avi format that windows movie maker supports. I’m using it for a long time and it works very well.
1. download the video (it will automatically be saved to your hard disk)
2. convert the video to wmv or avi
3. edit it with Windows Movie Maker.

Why Do Celebrity News Sources Always Mislead The Viewers With Wrong Information?

News – Jamie Foxx held hostage in his hotel room.
Truth – Jamie Foxx stopped the man from entering his room and the perp then fled the scene and was later arrested.
News – Mel Gibson “I Hate People”
Truth – Mel Gibson “I hate people that have no class”
News – Lindsay Lohan has more than one boyfriend
Truth – Lindsay Lohan said that she didn’t want to date just one person,a monogamous relationship.
Why does the news do this?
First one may ask, What do News Sources have to gain from misleading viewers? They want to provoke and emotional response. They want to provoke our curiosity. They want to smear a Celebrity and create confusion.
Emotions, curiosity, and confusion all mean money for the media.
What do News Sources have to lose? Nothing unless we stop listening to their rubbish. However, we don’t seem to get enough information about celebrities.
Some I like and some I don’t, but, I don’t care what they do on their time. There is not enough time in the day to worry about a celebrity’s life.
